INGREDIENTS:
All purpose flour/Maida - 2 cups
Salt - 1 tsp
Ajwain - 1 tsp
Ghee - 1 tsp
Red chili powder - 1 tsp
Water - 1/2 cup
Oil - for deep frying
PREPARATION:
- Mix together maida, salt, chili powder, ajwain, ghee.
- Knead well to make a soft dough using water.
- Make balls out off the dough and roll them into very thin and large chapatis.
- Make cuts, using knife by drawing a number of parallel lines to cut into diamond shaped pieces.
- Heat oil in a deep kadhai and fry these pieces, till golden brown colour.
- Let it cool and store in a air tight container.
- Serve with a hot cup of tea.
